I come to share with you
Flights of fancy
That came from far-
That came from near,
hopefully to spread some cheer.
Tales and Paintings
A poem or two
With warmth of spirit
And a smile too.
Autumn comes a-stalking
gently treading
softly creeping
Leaves, their duty done
whisper secret memories as they fall
of young spring growth
of summer nights –
bewildering sights
beneath the stars
Now’ the rain
lifts spirits free
of their ever home
their mother tree
